Seed phrase unavailable — software wallet 2014

Survives
Case description
A user who had set up a paper wallet in 2013 stored the seed words in a safe deposit box. When the bank branch housing the safe deposit box was closed and consolidated with another branch in 2014, the user was notified to collect the box contents. Unable to attend during the notified window, the contents were transferred to the bank's secure storage. The user faced a 6-month delay accessing the seed and had no way to spend from the wallet in the interim.
