Last updated: February 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of CustodyStress.

Use of the assessment is subject to the terms below.

Nature of the Tool

CustodyStress is a diagnostic custody survivability instrument.

It is not an advisory service, a security audit, or a professional engagement.

It does not provide financial, legal, tax, estate-planning, or security advice.

Use of CustodyStress is subject to the disclosures and limitations described in the Legal Disclaimer and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated by reference.

Access and Saved State

CustodyStress may allow users to save assessment state using email-based access links, without passwords, as part of the diagnostic experience.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Access to saved assessments depends entirely on control of the associated email address
  • Possession of a valid access link is equivalent to access
  • CustodyStress is not responsible for email compromise, forwarding, loss, or unauthorized access
  • Lost access links may not be recoverable

You are solely responsible for securing the email account and any access links.

Availability and Data Persistence

CustodyStress does not guarantee:

  • Continuous availability of the diagnostic
  • Long-term retention of saved assessments
  • Recovery of saved state if access is lost
  • Preservation of data across updates or changes

Saved assessments may expire, be deleted, or become inaccessible without notice.

User Responsibilities

By using CustodyStress, you agree that you will:

  • Not enter private keys, seed phrases, passwords, or other sensitive custody material
  • Secure any exported reports or saved outputs
  • Use trusted devices and browsers
  • Accept responsibility for any decisions made independently of CustodyStress outputs

CustodyStress does not verify user inputs and does not validate real-world configurations.

Changes and Discontinuation

CustodyStress may modify, suspend, or discontinue diagnostic features or access at any time.

Previously issued Custody Records remain bound to the Standard Version under which they were issued. Discontinuation of access does not retroactively alter issued records.

Modifications to the diagnostic methodology are governed by the Standard Version policy described in the Change Log.

No Professional Relationship

Use of CustodyStress does not create any fiduciary, advisory, client, or professional relationship.

If you require professional advice, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.

Acceptance of Risk

Bitcoin custody involves inherent risk, including permanent loss.

By using CustodyStress, you acknowledge that:

  • Assessment outcomes are modeled, hypothetical representations
  • Real-world results may differ materially
  • You accept all risks associated with reliance on diagnostic outputs

Assumption-Bound Outputs

All modeled outcomes produced by CustodyStress are:

  • Conditional
  • Time-specific
  • Bound to stated inputs

If inputs change, prior results no longer apply.

CustodyStress does not guarantee outcomes, recoverability, or risk mitigation.

Intellectual Property

The standard, instrument structure, evaluation logic, and document formats are proprietary. Access does not grant rights to reproduce, distribute, or create derivative instruments.

Governing Understanding

These Terms describe conditions of use of a diagnostic instrument only.

They do not constitute a service-level agreement or guarantee of performance.
