ConstrainedCase description
In October 2019 the Mt. Gox rehabilitation plan trustee began its claim verification process. Thousands of creditors had to produce documentation of their original account balances from records dating to 2013–2014. Many had not retained email confirmations, trade histories, or deposit receipts from the now-defunct exchange. Creditors without documentation could only assert claims based on their memory of holdings.
