Following the Bitcoin XT controversy, a Bitcoin exchange that had been offering 'coinbase futures'—bets on the first output of each new Bitcoin block—suspended the product without distributing winnings. The product had never been documented in legal terms. Customers with winning positions had no enforceable claim.
