Existing New York customers found their account withdrawal and deposit functions
SurvivesCase description
Following the BitLicense implementation, several Bitcoin exchanges that had served New York users chose to geofence the state rather than apply for a licence. Existing New York customers found their account withdrawal and deposit functions suspended. To continue using those exchanges, customers had to prove they had relocated outside New York—a process that took weeks for some.
