Owner incapacity — software wallet (2015)
BlockedCase description
A November 2015 forum case describes a user with a progressive neurological condition who had begun to lose fine motor control. They had stored their wallet passphrase only in memory and could no longer type it accurately due to tremors. Dictation software introduced transcription errors. By the time they sought help, they could no longer reliably verify which passphrase attempts were accurate.
