A Bitcoin startup's 2-of-3 multisig treasury was rendered inaccessible in March 2020 when two of three key holders were simultaneously hospitalised with COVID-19. The third key holder had a quorum only with one of the two hospitalised individuals. With both ill, the quorum was unreachable for 5 weeks.
