A Bitcoin investor lost their phone down a drain in April 2018. The phone contained their primary Mycelium wallet. They did not have the 12-word seed recorded anywhere. The phone was an Android device that had not been backed up to cloud storage. Professional data recovery from the waterlogged device failed.
