Device lost — hardware wallet 2020
SurvivesCase description
A Trezor user had their home flooded by a burst pipe in February 2020 while they were on holiday. Their hardware device and seed phrase paper backup were both on a desk that was submerged for 48 hours. The seed card was laminated and survived. The device was destroyed. Funds were recovered to a replacement device.
